The College of Education Teacher Education Programs (TEP) consists of five pathways to teacher certification: Elementary Teacher Education, Seattle Teacher Residency, Secondary Teacher Education, Special Education Teacher Education, and the University Accelerated Certification for Teachers. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of TEP, the Program Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of TEP and is a collaborative leadership role that serves as a key member of the TEP team. This position works in key partnership with the Assistant Dean, TEP Pathway Directors, the Office of Student and Academic Services (OSAS), and other college faculty, staff, and students. This position requires a high level of organizational ability and strong customer service skills and will facilitate communication and coordination across all TEP teams and programs. The person in this position must work independently and be highly skilled at interfacing with staff, faculty, and students. The ability to problem-solve, initiate, and implement process-improvements, and to thrive in an environment with many moving parts are strong attributes for this position. The Program Manager must create a welcoming office environment that is open to all. This position requires an individual who is especially adept at listening and developing relationships with students, staff, and faculty, while centering students in all aspects of the inner workings of TEP. This role is primarily in person at the Seattle campus, with some flexibility for remote work depending on operational needs. Availability outside of regular business hours may be necessary to attend scheduled events and meetings.
