The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) within the College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach Campus) invites applications for multiple full-time, nine-month tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor, with an anticipated start date of August 2026. We seek exceptional candidates committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service. While outstanding applicants in all areas of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Systems Engineering will be considered, we have particular interest in candidates with expertise in: Software Engineering Theoretical and Applied Machine Learning Quantum Computing, Communications, Networking, and Signal Processing Control Systems and Autonomous Systems Cyber-Resilient Systems The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science includes 22 faculty members and offers a comprehensive range of academic programs: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. M.S. programs in Cybersecurity Engineering; Electrical & Computer Engineering; Software Engineering; Systems Engineering; and Unmanned & Autonomous Systems Engineering. B.S. programs in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Systems Engineering. The department is uniquely positioned for highly impactful research thanks to its multidisciplinary composition, integrating computing, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, software engineering, and aerospace-focused technologies. This structure enables deep cross-disciplinary collaboration, promotes innovative solutions to national and global challenges, and supports high-impact research aligned with industry and government priorities.
