We invite applications for a full-time tenure-track Engineering Professor to join our Engineering Department. This position focuses on providing high-quality education in engineering, supporting student pathways and transfer in Engineering, and fostering a learning environment centered on equity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will teach lecture and laboratory engineering courses, including introductory and major-level classes, with enthusiasm and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered pedagogy. They will lead curriculum development efforts, integrating culturally relevant materials and equity-focused strategies to close achievement gaps and promote student success. In addition, the successful candidate will have responsibility for helping to maintain and grow the state-of-the-art Engineering program for the Engineering & Physical Sciences department, and will include development, implementation and articulation of curriculum, and development of facilities. This role will directly impact students’ success and transferability to a university as well as their access to high-demand careers in all areas of engineering. Interested candidates should be passionate about participating in departmental and college-wide initiatives aimed at improving access and success for all students. This includes developing work-based learning opportunities that inspire students to choose diverse career pathways in Engineering and STEM overall.
