The University of Scranton's Leahy College of Health Sciences seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join its growing in-person undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) program and new online Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). The anticipated start date for this position is August 2026. Candidates in all areas of expertise will be considered, with particular interest in individuals whose teaching and scholarly focus aligns with medical speech-language pathology, including voice, swallowing and dysphagia, motor speech disorders, and related areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching across modalities, active scholarship, and evidence-based clinical practice. The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in Speech-Language Pathology, delivered via distance education, is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
