About The Position

The Finance Trainer will deliver task-based training sessions for end-users on ERP Financials. This role focuses on teaching users how to complete business processes within the system, not on accounting theory. Trainers will lead stand-up sessions, virtual classes, and provide elbow-to-elbow support during key deployment phases. All training materials will be provided by the implementation partner. Availability is required during the initial 6-8 weeks go-live events, from June 30th through mid-October, as well as for key deployment milestones.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hands-on experience training or using ERP Financial applications (Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, Blackline, etc) strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of role-based access and user workflows within Oracle strongly preferred
  • Experience in the Healthcare or a related industry including clinical settings strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver system-based training on ERP Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Grants, and Projects
  • Teach specific tasks such as journal entry creation, invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations.
  • Guide users through financial dashboards, work areas, and reporting tools.
  • Facilitate hands-on practice in sandbox environments using realistic scenarios.
  • Provide virtual support during go-lives and training waves.
  • Reinforce task sequencing, data standards, and proper system usage
