Temporary Staff Accountant

Vertin is seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to support our accounting team during a peak period. This role will focus on bank reconciliations, core accounting duties, and small ad hoc projects that help maintain accurate and timely financial records. Requirements
- Two or more years of accounting experience
- Strong bank reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage small ad hoc projects with minimal oversight
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Dynamics GP preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete high volume of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Support month end close activities
- Assist with small ad hoc projects assigned by the team
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and uphold internal controls
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
