About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support full-cycle recruiting during a period of increased hiring activity, helping the organization attract and retain top talent. You will manage multiple open positions simultaneously, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure a smooth, equitable, and mission-aligned recruitment process. The Temporary Recruiter will leverage creative sourcing strategies, develop diverse talent pipelines, and maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset to identify and engage both active and passive candidates. By contributing to the growth of the team and supporting a meaningful mission, you will make a direct impact on organizational success. This part-time role (28 hours per week, Monday-Thursday) provides flexibility and the chance to work in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in corporate, nonprofit, or mission-driven environments.
  • Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously and handling competing priorities.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills, with a proactive approach to outreach.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles, ensuring timely movement of candidates.
  • Actively source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and targeted outreach strategies.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines, with intentional engagement of underrepresented communities.
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare hiring managers with candidate information, and track candidate progress in applicant tracking systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring professional communication and a positive experience.
  • Maintain recruiting data, documentation, and support administrative tasks such as offer coordination and pre-employment requirements.
