About The Position

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a full time Temporary Recruiter to join our Human Resources department. Wage: $22 to $30 per hour (DOE) Schedule: 35 hours - Flexible Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm ET Location: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite at 99 Quentin Roosevelt Blvd in Garden City Duration: 3 Months With Potential to Extend Primary Purpose of Job: The Temporary Recruiter will oversee aspects of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, from sourcing candidates to interviewing and candidate selection, ensuring that our organization attracts and onboards top talent. This individual will play a critical role in building a diverse and skilled workforce that aligns with the organization's mission and values.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of diverse recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (Paycom is a plus!)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior high volume recruitment experience required.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Must be organized, reliable, and able to consult with a wide array of candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team by implementing recruitment strategies that align with EAC Networks goals and values.
  • Collaborate with department leaders/supervisors to understand staffing needs and recruit for top talent.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Utilize diverse channels for talent acquisition, including job boards, social media, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Collaborate with Director of People and Culture to ensure fair and unbiased hiring practices, fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Support with the recruitment and onboarding of interns, externs, and volunteers at EAC Network.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment metrics and progress to the Director of People and Culture and the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including candidate information, interview notes, candidate assessment tools, and hiring decisions.
  • Perform all other relevant tasks as assigned.
