SummarySimplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a Temporary Operations Support position. This is a Full-time, temporary, position with benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to assist with daily plant operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Forklift and warehouse experience are highly desired
Past seed handling experience or agriculture background preferred
Excellent communications skills with positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently.
Cooperative and willing to assist others
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ag-Industry Hours – overtime in peak season as required.

Responsibilities

Operate seed cleaning and conditioning equipment according to direction.
Thoroughly cleaning all conditioning and bagging equipment
Cleaning and maintenance of facility
Application of appropriate tags and labels
Accurately maintain seed inventory counts
Receiving, staging and loading seed for shipping
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to support efficient plant operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Receiving and unloading product and performing warehouse inventory and storage functions.
May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc.
