About The Position

Monarch Staffing is seeking a Temporary Financial Secretary to support a Child & Career Development Center in Chester County. This role is responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support in a school-based environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial recordkeeping required
  • Strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with staff, students, parents, vendors, and administration
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must be able to obtain current PA Police, Child Abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders, requisitions, invoices, and expense vouchers
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and budget revisions
  • Maintain and balance production, activity, and instructional accounts
  • Prepare receipts, bank deposits, and budget reports for administration
  • Maintain petty cash funds
  • Order supplies for both centers and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Assign ASN numbers for staff expense vouchers
  • Provide general office support including answering phones and greeting visitors
