About The Position

So if you're utterly addicted to budgeting, you'll be thrilled to hear about our Temporary Financial Planning & Analysis Manager position. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this role is all about being goodr’s financial “crystal ball,” helping to guide key decisions with sharp insights. You'll take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, making sense of the numbers to tell a story that drives growth. Note: This is a Full-Time TEMPORARY position from April 2026 through Early August 2026.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven working experience in an FP&A role
  • Solid record of demonstrating achievement utilizing data to drive action
  • Experience in budgeting/forecasting is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the 3 financial statements
  • Proven comfort with large data sets and the tools to manage large data sets in order to facilitate a dynamic sales environment
  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience effectively collaborating with leadership
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks
  • Asks a lot of questions
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck
  • Loves getting and giving feedback
  • Is into personal growth
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver (Can you google a question?)

Nice To Haves

  • May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • Basic SQL knowledge is ideal

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, expense forecasts, and long-term financial projections
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for various business channels and initiatives
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
  • Be our “forward-looking guru” to help support sound company decisions
  • Communicate effectively with the cross-functional teams to address their needs (revenue and expenses)
  • Manage financial aspects of special projects by determining key drivers, driving the right set of analyses, and presenting the key findings
  • Analyze product mix and profitability margins
  • No direct reports – you get to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis charge without managing your fellow flamingos
  • This role is in the Business Intelligence team and will report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
