This position will exist to coordinate and execute with staff the food production and service in various areas of the Lory Catering facilities. Duties include cooking, food preparation, assisting student staff, adherence to defined policies and procedures, documentation for checklists, quality standards, standard operating procedures and logs. To act as a general foodservice worker and perform a variety of supportive foodservice work including, but not limited to: meeting and greeting guests, cleaning tasks, washing dishes, preparation of foods and beverages in accordance with Lory Catering standards and recipes, make catering deliveries, set up and tear down of event equipment, and other duties as appropriate and assigned. Must learn the rules and regulations of dining services and orient themselves with the facility in order to be able to organize and prioritize work assignments within established operating procedures and guidelines. Must be able to work in varying work conditions and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Adhere to CSU’s safety guidelines associated with public health.
