Primary Purpose: Provides administrative support by receiving and directing visitors, fielding telephone calls, scheduling meetings, composing basic correspondence, and providing routine and general office support.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; data entry skills; Internet research abilities.
  • Knowledge of office practices and procedures (e.g., filing, answering telephones, and supply/equipment ordering).
  • Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Proactive, punctual, and reliable.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of clerical/administrative experience in an office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries and resolves routine problems requiring a general understanding of work-area policies and procedures in a timely manner to ensure questions are answered and issues are resolved.
  • Composes, edits, maintains, and distributes mailing lists; creates mail merges and performs mass mailings; photocopies and collates basic material to ensure timely communication and retention of documents.
  • Prepares forms and documents; verifies for discrepancies and follows up to ensure accuracy.
  • Enters data and generates reports from Division-specific systems to ensure accurate processing and record keeping.
  • Maintain the presentation of common areas, including the front desk, conference rooms, and breakroom.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
