The Department of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) provides comprehensive programs and services to support healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible practices for our world class faculty, staff, students and university community. EHS assists the campus community with compliance and promotes health, safety, and environmental stewardship. Under the supervision of the Account Representative and Office Lead the temporary administrative assistant will perform general administrative duties for the department such as calendaring, document management, answering phones, pick-up and drop-off of documents/items, mail sorting, data entry, and event planning and assistance. In addition, more specialized tasks include providing administrative support for our ticketing system, accounts payable, entering training completions in Workday Learning, following the procurement process, assistance with Concur travel system, scheduling car repairs, set-up of workstations, and assisting with onboarding and off-boarding items. This position is a temporary, non- benefits eligible position for 39 hrs/week. The pay rate is $24.00/hour. This role is expected to last for approximately 4.5 months.
