About The Position

Temple Entrepreneurial Internal – ABA Centers of Pennsylvania Wayne, PA Hourly rate of $20/hour. OUR MISSION To provide clients and their families with compassionate, individualized, and comprehensive care, helping to navigate the social, emotional, communication, and daily living challenges experienced by those with autism. POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE The Entrepreneurial Intern role is a structured, leadership-development internship designed to provide hands-on exposure to healthcare operations, executive-level decision-making, and business development strategy within a regulated clinical environment. This internship mirrors the responsibilities, expectations, and professional standards of leadership roles such as Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Business Development Representative, while providing guided mentorship and development. Interns are expected to demonstrate initiative, accountability, professionalism, and entrepreneurial thinking throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at Temple University
  • Strong interest in operations, leadership, or business development
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and responsibilities independently
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

  • Observe and assist with day-to-day operational workflows
  • Support documentation, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives
  • Gain exposure to compliance, scheduling, and operational metrics
  • Participate in meetings related to center operations and performance
  • Observe executive-level decision-making and leadership meetings
  • Assist with special projects tied to center goals and priorities
  • Learn how leaders balance operational, financial, and people considerations
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive business matters
  • Support community outreach and referral engagement initiatives
  • Assist with preparation for events, presentations, or outreach activities
  • Learn how referral pipelines and partnerships are developed and maintained
  • Observe data tracking and reporting related to growth and engagement
  • Participate in structured check-ins and feedback sessions
  • Complete assigned projects and learning objectives on time
  • Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and professionalism
  • Adhere to all company policies, confidentiality standards, and compliance requirements
  • Commit a minimum of 10 hours per week (or as defined by academic program)
  • Maintain professional communication and conduct at all times
  • Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and privacy standards
  • Be open to feedback and continuous learning
  • Represent ICBD professionally within all settings
  • Pass all required background checks (PA and/or NJ)
  • Complete child abuse clearances and fingerprinting as required
  • Complete confidentiality agreements and required training
  • Comply with all ICBD policies and procedures
