This fast-growing multiplatform portfolio is comprised of the Telemundo Network, Telemundo Deportes, Telemundo Global Studios, Universo, and a Digital Enterprises & Emerging Business unit. Telemundo Network features original Spanish-language entertainment, news and sports content. Telemundo Deportes is the designated Spanish-language home of two of the world’s most popular sporting events: FIFA World Cup™ through 2026 and the Summer Olympic Games through 2032. Telemundo Global Studios is the company’s domestic and international scripted production unit. Areas of placement may include TLMD Marketing Creative Production, TLMD Unscripted Development, and TLMD Corporate Events.

Requirements

Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027)
December 2026 graduates are not eligible for this Academic Year Internship Program
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States
Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
Must be willing to work in Miami, FL
Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Students with class standing of junior or above preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet
Pursuing a degree in Media Production, Broadcast Operations, Communications, or a related field
Basic understanding of television or live production environments preferred
Passion for sports broadcasting and interest in technical production workflows
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork
Creative, pop-culture savvy, and interested in storytelling and media development

Responsibilities

Work passionately in all promotional campaign shoots as part of the Marketing Creative Production Team
Work on every single project from Marketing that requires production, such as launching a new season of a show, new series, realities, sports and news
Support creative research, idea generation, and administrative tasks for Telemundo entertainment programming (Unscripted Development)
Assist in organizing and executing a variety of corporate events, from conferences and meetings to team-building activities and special celebrations
Support the events team to ensure the success of each event through attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to creating memorable experiences for attendees
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring corporate events to life
