Telemetry Technician
About The Position
Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care. Accountable for providing direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice. Understands and reacts effectively to the unique need of all patients. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED- Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Telemetry experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred
- Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association- Preferred
