About The Position

14561 – Telecommunications Manager (Hybrid) – Austin, TX Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day supervision to technical teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance toward organizational goals Direct and motivate team members through clear communication, performance guidance, and development support in a complex IT environment Oversee the administration, maintenance, and design of enterprise-grade Cisco VoIP solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and voice quality Manage a networking team responsible for operating and supporting a mission-critical 24x7x365 network, voice, and video infrastructure Ensure continuous availability and rapid resolution of issues across integrated network and unified communications systems Drive operational excellence by establishing standards, best practices, and proactive monitoring for voice and data networks Coordinate cross-functional efforts to implement, optimize, and sustain resilient, secure, and high-performance communication services

Requirements

  • Experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals. (7+ years)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions. (7+ years)
  • Experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment. (5+ years)
  • Experience with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment. (5 years)
