Position summary Performs hands-on vulnerability remediation, device and platform patching, and secure configuration hardening for video teleconferencing endpoints and supporting services. Ensures devices remain secure and reliable while supporting measurable compliance outcomes.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of direct, hands-on support for enterprise video teleconferencing platforms and endpoints.
  • Experience executing device updates and operational validation in production environments.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions.
  • Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities.
  • A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required, including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions, no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital information technology experience strongly preferred; broader healthcare experience preferred.
  • Certifications desirable: vendor platform certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Review Qualys Vulnerability Management findings and vendor advisories for video teleconferencing devices and platforms; plan remediation waves.
  • Execute device and platform updates during approved windows; coordinate with Field Services for hands-on updates when remote methods are not feasible.
  • Apply hardening configurations including secure administrative access, credential posture alignment, disabling insecure features where applicable, and logging posture where supported.
  • Validate device registration, conferencing performance, and service availability post-change; document evidence and outcomes.
  • Maintain metrics for remediation completion, success rates, vulnerability aging, and repeat findings; support service level agreement reporting.
