Position summary Provides hands-on, onsite remediation support for endpoints and devices that cannot be remediated through remote tools or that experience issues after patching or hardening changes. Ensures remediation and compliance outcomes are achieved even when automation is not possible.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of direct, hands-on field services experience supporting enterprise endpoints and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills with the ability to work independently in customer environments.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions.
  • Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities.
  • A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required, including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions, no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital information technology experience strongly preferred; broader healthcare experience preferred.
  • Certifications highly desirable: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite patching, recovery, and repair for endpoints and devices that cannot be remediated remotely.
  • Resolve post-change failures including boot issues, application failures, connectivity issues, and performance degradation; restore devices to operational state.
  • Support hands-on updates for specialized devices, video teleconferencing endpoints, and other assets requiring physical access.
  • Capture remediation evidence and device outcomes to support Qualys closure validation and program reporting.
  • Provide accurate reporting inputs on completion counts, repeat failures, and turnaround time to support metrics and service level agreement reporting.
  • Identify recurring patterns and escalate systemic issues for root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
