Requirements

  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree (Degree in IT related field desirable).
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms.
  • Experience with IP based telephony, PBX platforms, Digital Voice Platforms.
  • Agency specific - Public Trust security clearance.
  • Communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to provide after hours call out - support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications and video systems to meet operational standards.
  • Monitors the operations of telecommunications and video systems and services of vendors.
  • Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
  • Plans, coordinates and performs all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
  • Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
  • Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
  • Provides end-user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.
