TrendMicro.com Summary The MSO / Telco Business Development Manager owns TrendAI's strategic relationships with Managed Service Organizations (MSOs) and Telecommunications providers. This role is responsible for recruiting, enabling, and scaling service provider partners that deliver Trend Micro solutions as managed and recurring security services. The development manager will develop and execute partner business plans that drive partner-sourced pipeline, recurring revenue growth, and long-term platform adoption. This individual collaborates closely with MSO/Telco executives, sales leadership, technical teams, and internal Trend Micro stakeholders to embed Trend Micro into managed security offerings and accelerate partner-led go-to-market success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development
  • Proven experience working with MSPs, MSOs, Telcos, or service provider ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of managed services, recurring revenue models, and service-led go-to-market motions
  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes across partner and internal stakeholder groups
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in the development of strategic relationships with MSO/telco providers
  • Familiarity with MDR, SOC services, endpoint, cloud security, or hybrid environments

Responsibilities

  • Partner Strategy & Business Planning Develop and execute strategic partner plans for MSO and Telco accounts aligned to Trend Micro’s service provider and Telco strategy Identify high-potential partners and define joint growth objectives, investment priorities, and success metrics
  • Partner Recruitment & Enablement Recruit, onboard, and activate MSO/Telco partners capable of delivering Trend Micro as a managed service Deliver enablement programs tailored to service-led sales motions, technical operations, and automation Drive adoption of Trend Micro partner programs, certifications, and service provider enablement resources
  • Pipeline & Revenue Growth Drive partner-sourced and partner-led pipeline through managed service offerings Support partners in developing repeatable go-to-market motions and bundled service offerings Collaborate with internal sales, SEs, and channel teams to support complex or strategic opportunities
  • Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with MSO/Telco executives, sales leaders, and technical decision-makers Act as the primary point of contact between partners and Trend Micro’s sales, product, enablement, and marketing teams Provide partner feedback to influence roadmap priorities, program enhancements, and enablement strategy
