About The Position

Designs and delivers technology training programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to use technology to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, instructional design, or education, or equivalent experience, required.
  • Three years of experience with relevant technology, required.
  • Experience in adult based training and development, required.
  • Skilled in developing computer-based training (“CBT”) using CBT applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe eLearning Suite, or Articulate.
  • General knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication (oral and written) skills required to interact and communicate complex technical concepts effectively with all hospital staff, medical staff, and external contacts (i.e. vendors).
  • Capable of presenting effectively to small and large audiences.
  • Must be able to multi-task by managing multiple projects with multiple deliverables and meet all deadlines by applying strong time management skills.
  • Ability to influence others and foster a positive, supportive environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Recognized certification in a training specialization such as Microsoft Office, Epic or Instructional Design, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers training programs for technology-related topics, to individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually.
  • Contributes to the creation of training programs and associated training materials including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
  • Assists with the analysis of training needs of individuals and groups.
  • Gathers feedback on the effectiveness of training programs and suggests improvements.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and software to ensure training programs and materials are current.
  • Collaborates with other trainers and subject matter experts to ensure own expertise is refreshed and developed.
