About The Position

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Complete all scheduled network services and installations in an efficient and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Successfully perform network tasks while subsequently assisting with the training of personnel to ensure departmental duties are completed with accuracy. Complete work assignments as required by the event schedule and/or administrative needs by providing exceptional customer support and responsiveness. Professionally interface with clients and in-house personnel regarding technical requirements. Act as a supportive liaison to other departments, vendors and clients. Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose and repair technical problems in order to minimize downtime and improve responsiveness. Provide accurate and timely data calls by ensuring that all required orders, service tickets, records and forms are updated, maintained and completed correctly. Monitor, secure and issue Technology Services' equipment to MCCNO personnel to allow for efficient work processes. Account for and ensure Technology Services' equipment is returned undamaged to help maintain costs and aid in the comprehensive equipment management of the department.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
