About The Position

At Sport Clips, technology is at the heart of how we support our teams and deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. We’re looking for a Technology Support Technician who thrives on solving problems, helping people, and keeping systems running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be a key player in supporting both our corporate teams and retail locations—ensuring everything from laptops to POS systems works seamlessly. If you love hands-on tech, fast-paced environments, and making a real impact, this is your opportunity. This role is based in Georgetown, TX and you MUST be able to work onsite a minimum of 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of IT support experience or equivalent (Degree, A+, or hands-on experience)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of networking basics (VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail tech environments
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira
  • Ability to think critically and solve issues end-to-end
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills—technical and non-technical
  • Patient, friendly, and professional approach to user support
  • Strong customer-first mindset, even under pressure
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Adaptability in a fast-changing environment
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to share knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (equipment setup)
  • Flexibility for after-hours or weekend support when needed

Responsibilities

  • Technology Deployment & Support: Set up, image, and deploy laptops and workstations for in-office and remote employees. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to keep teams productive
  • Business Application Support: Support internal platforms and applications used across the business. Train and guide team members so they can get the most out of our tools
  • Retail Technology Support: Support retail operations with a focus on POS systems and kiosks. Quickly resolve store-level tech issues to minimize downtime
  • Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets with accuracy and attention to detail. Perform upgrades and maintenance to keep systems compliant and reliable
  • Security & Compliance: Maintain strong security practices and protect company data. Stay current on emerging threats and best practices
  • User Training & Helpdesk Support: Provide friendly, effective support to end-users. Document all work in our ITSM system (Jira) for visibility and tracking
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with IT and business teams to improve processes. Help build and maintain a knowledge base to empower users
