Spring Branch Independent School District Job Description Technology Project Specialist (Bond Funded) Job Title: Technology Project Specialist (Bond Funded) Reports To: Manager, Projects-Technology Services (Bond Funded) Classification: Paraprofessional (Clerical/Teacher Assistant) Wage/Hour Status: Non-exempt Days: 230 Salary: See Compensation Plan for Paraprofessional/Administrative Support Staff, Pay Grade 401- 403 Contract: None Date Revised: 10/21/2025 Primary Purpose: Performing specialized clerical duties for the Project Managers. Qualifications/Skills: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent. Special Knowledge/Skills: Broad knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) and Zoom preferred. Expertise in budgeting, accounting, and reporting for various funds. Excellent organizational skills, problem solving abilities and conscientious work habits. Ability to perform team or independent work. Be detail oriented, able to prioritize duties and multitask under pressure. Interact professionally, courteously and appropriately with all levels of District staff. Ability to prioritize assignments. Experience: Texas public school experience preferred. Previous office experience required. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Office Assistant Duties: Provide assistance and support to project Leads, Managers and Directors responsible for multiple large capital projects. Proven budget management skills (MUNIS financial and Kronos timekeeping software experience plus). Assist in the procurement process to ensure all vendors needed by the Technology Services department are identified and the process for approval is seamless. Support timelines and scope of Technology Services bond projects. Assist the department with record keeping, special events, and programming implementation. Maintain records, process vender background checks and issue payments for all District technology contracts and purchases. Assemble, organize and submit senior staff and Board of Trustees Agenda items according to district procedures as needed. Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reports that support effective administration of the bond program. Manage and Coordinate with Purchasing and the Police Department on all required badging for vendors and contractors for the district's electronic badging process. Answer, respond to, and/or appropriately direct telephone calls from staff, public, and outside vendors. Coordinate project documentation and coordinate calendars, meetings, schedules, and appointments for Project Leads and Project Managers. Provide clerical support including, but not limited to, filing and scanning, faxing, mail processing, ordering office supplies, data entry, receiving & signing for packages/deliveries, etc. Assist with overflow work and serves as back-up, as needed, for administrative assistants. Assist with various projects monthly/quarterly, as directed. Provide customer service support Technology Services and contact vendor for copier service calls, monitor paper supplies and toner. Other: Participate in cross training and professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
