Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent experience
  • A combination of education, IT certifications, and specialized experience in an enterprise or school IT environment will be considered.
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Desire to learn and grow IT skill set
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Google Admin Console
  • Experience with help-desk/inventory systems
  • Experience with technology procurement
  • Experience using Google applications
  • Basic computer hardware knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and setup of student Chromebooks and related devices at the Chrome Depot.
  • Manage inventory of all district technology equipment, including computers, displays, and printers.
  • Coordinate summer deployment of student devices, including unboxing, setup, organization, and supervision of student assistants.
  • Deliver and collect devices between district buildings as needed.
  • Create, manage, and deactivate employee accounts in Microsoft/Azure and Google Admin Console environments.
  • Maintain secure authentication processes and assist staff with password resets, multi-factor authentication, and account access issues.
  • Conducts phishing campaigns and other cybersecurity awareness activities under the direction of the Director of Technology.
  • Respond to technology-related inquiries received through the district help desk; resolve routine issues and create tickets for complex requests.
  • Manages department purchasing, including obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, receiving equipment, and processing invoices.
  • Track software licenses and subscriptions to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate records of technology assets and user access in accordance with district policy and security best practices.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
