 The Opportunity In this critical leadership role in Black & Veatch’s world class consulting organization, you will have the opportunity to: 

Coordinate and drive growth in our TIG Market and its associated segments (technology, industrial, and government), including but not limited to data center, manufacturing, transportation, distributed infrastructure, other industrials, etc., in collaboration with the Solution Leaders, Sector/Segment Leaders and Sales Leaders as appropriate.
 Build strong strategic relationships with Sector/Segment Leadership and Solution Leadership.
Develop strategic vision and go to market plan for the designated market(s) to drive significant and sustained profitable growth.
The TeamBlack & Veatch’s Infrastructure Advisory business offers an integrated porƞolio of strategic consulting and operation resiliency services that apply across the client’s entire investment-to-operations lifecycle commitments. Included are Strategic Advisory, Industrial Cybersecurity, and Operating Assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience 
• Typically 15+ years in a business/consulting environment 
• Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously 
• Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements 
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Typically 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment.
• 10+ years of direct industry and/or consulting experience in the industries within the TIG Markets 
• 8+ years experience in one or more solution areas (delivery or development) Master’s degree preferred. 
• Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred 
• Comprehensive market understanding and awareness (current and future), with understanding of specific client needs 
• Extensive experience in working with C-Suite executive in strategic development and advisory capacity 
• In-depth understanding of Black & Veatch Solutions and sub-offerings 
• Experience articulating the business need for and provide strategic direction on developing innovative solutions for existing and prospective clients 
• Marketing and Business Development experience in successfully developing a new market and/or practice 
• Pursuit strategy development and management experience 
• Demonstrated ability to work with/adapt to varying disciplines and cross-functional teams Master’s degree preferred 
• Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationship between Infrastructure Advisory (IA) TIG Markets and the rest of BV Sector Segments and relevant Solution Pornolios
• Understand Market Trends, key issues, buying practices (paint bigger picture & link our solutions to the future)
• Develop and execute IA TIG Markets Strategic Go-To-Market plan 
• Drive industry/client insights into IA’s solution pornolio offerings
• Lead BV growth aspirations in the Markets 
• Lead the TIG Market team to meet and/or exceed its business objectives including but not limited to new business targets 
• Develop and foster internal (Client Segment Leader) & external (Clients) relationships 
• Participate in and influence relevant BV key account planning and drive IA’s TIG Markets account strategy and planning 
• Influence marketing activity, market presence, & client positioning 
• Trusted advisor to BV Client Segment Leaders for where, what and how to focus on strategic development, and collaborate to drive market specific direction for long term success 
• Maintain connection to BV enterprise sales and account management approaches Responsible for driving market vertical pipeline management
