About The Position

Primary Purpose: Responsible for troubleshooting and supporting iPads used by students, teachers, and staff, as well as performing data entry and management tasks related to educational records and technology usage. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to supporting the educational community. The position will be under the supervision of the Executive Director of Technology, as well as the Mobile Device Managers and Instructional Technology staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, especially related to iPads and iOS devices
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) systems and educational apps (e.g., Apple Classroom, Apple School Manager, Jamf)
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with students, teachers, staff, and parents
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws (e.g., FERPA)
  • Patience and ability to work with a diverse group of students, educators, and parents.
  • One or more years' experience working with students preferred
  • One or more years' experience troubleshooting iPads, mobile devices, or technology support in an education setting preferred
  • One or more years experience with data entry, managing records, or administrative support in an educational environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to students, teachers, and staff for iPads, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device performance, apps, operating system updates, and syncing.
  • Ready materials and technology applications for use as requested.
  • Set up and configure iPads, ensuring they are ready for student use.
  • Collect and maintain records, payments and signatures and prepare notifications as needed.
  • Receive and process materials and equipment and reconcile with databases.
  • Work closely with the IT department to ensure devices are up-to-date with the latest software.
  • Maintain physical and computerized files.
  • Assist with administrative records and prepare required reports.
  • Coordinate device repair and replacement as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA).
