Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Caregivers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and care teams
  • Understanding of safety regulations and guidelines related to imaging modalities
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the imaging technologist
  • Assist in preparing patients for imaging exams while remaining sensitive to their physical and emotional needs
  • Assist patients on and off procedure tables and transport patients to and from procedure rooms
  • Assist and/or oversee coordination of patient care throughout the imaging process
  • Communicate pertinent patient information to technologists and other care team members following procedures
  • Routinely inspect transport equipment and notify appropriate personnel when repairs or maintenance are needed
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport and imaging workflows
  • Perform IV insertion upon certification and successful skill pass‑off, as applicable
