Technologist Assistant - Radiology
About The Position
Technologist Assistant serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist. The tech assistant will perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist, as well as escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned. Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
Requirements

- 2 nights per week 5 hours shifts, and every other weekend 10 hours shifts
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
- Performing technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist
- Escorting/transporting patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
- Correctly identifying patients, recognizing their limitations and obtaining additional information and assistance as needed.
