We can’t wait to meet you! As an Advanced Technologist Assistant, you will be onsite and able to perform a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical and patient related functions. The Advanced Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting radiology technologists in providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting. Essential Functions Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services. Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the patient registration. Greets visitors/patients. Check-in process; Check-out process; Insurance verification process; Informs patients of costs for care being provided. Guides them to appropriate resources for further information. Answers telephones; Relays messages Sets up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolations precautions when needed. Provide quality customer service, explains all studies to patient in a clear manner. Positions the patient, ensuring patient comfort and modesty. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Prepares patients for exams by assisting with dressing and undressing, positioning patients for exams and escorting patients to and from the exam rooms. Must be able to interact compassionately and effectively with people who range from healthy to critically ill. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. May be required to start IVs Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification (Preferred)
Phlebotomy Certification OR Medical Assisting Certificate
