The Technician Production Operations role is crucial in the manufacturing process of medical devices that provide lifesaving diagnoses. This position involves following engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications. The technician will run tests, perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment, and conduct test set-up, calibration, functional testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Requirements

  • 2-year associate’s degree
  • 6+ months of manufacturing assembly experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb
  • Able work on your feet daily

Nice To Haves

  • Electro-mechanical or medical device assembly or testing
  • Following written SOPs
  • Knowledge of using Windows computers
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical associate’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Follows engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing production process.
  • Run tests, perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), blueprints or other drawings.
  • Performing test set-up, calibration, functional testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform testing on medical devices that provide lifesaving diagnoses for patients across the globe
  • Work together with a diverse group of team members to deliver high quality products for our customers
