This role, Technician Production Operations, is responsible for following engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other specifications in the manufacturing production process. Key tasks include running tests, performing troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment, and conducting test set-up, calibration, functional testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. This on-site position is part of the Access2/DxC 500i test team in Chaska, MN, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The role offers the opportunity to perform testing on medical devices vital for patient diagnoses and to collaborate with a diverse team to deliver high-quality products.

Requirements

  • 2-year associate’s degree
  • 6+ months of manufacturing assembly experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

Nice To Haves

  • Electro-mechanical or medical device assembly or testing
  • Following written SOPs
  • Knowledge of using Windows computers
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical associate’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Follows engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing production process.
  • Run tests, perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), blueprints or other drawings.
  • Performing test set-up, calibration, functional testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform testing on medical devices that provide lifesaving diagnoses for patients across the globe.
  • Work together with a diverse group of team members to deliver high quality products for our customers.
