Position Overview: TEAM is seeking an experienced, technically capable, and safety-focused Hot Tap and Line Stop Technician to lead and perform various tasks and work scopes within the service level qualification assigned. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school, Industry or relevant training preferred
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a Hot Tap industrial setting is required.
• Driving License, TWIC Card, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
• The primary role is responsible for executing and leading Hot Tap and Line Stop operations in accordance with the technician certification following company processes and procedures, achieve or exceed quality expectations for the performance of Hot Tap and Line Stop operations that may include any of the following techniques and tasks: Creating a safe entry into a pipe or vessel; operating at a pressure or vacuum Hot taps and conventional line stops Hot stops Hi-Stops® Super Hi-Stops® Double Line Stops 45 Degree angle taps Tee stops and elbow stops Across-the-line stops Through the line valve stops Freeze stops
• Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and to continuously improve their skills and levels of competence and knowledge.
• Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Maintain all tooling and equipment, document all service activities as required.
