Requirements

  • Pressure Systems Experience: Prior experience operating high-pressure fluid or pneumatic systems in a manufacturing, oil & gas, or military environment.
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical manuals.
  • Mathematical Aptitude: Basic proficiency in calculating pressure conversions and understanding volume/displacement metrics.
  • Physical Dexterity: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical positions to connect fittings and secure heavy test articles.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to follow step-by-step technical procedures without deviation to ensure safety and data integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-yr associate's degree in a relevant field
  • Aerospace Background: Experience in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing or launch-support environment.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with ITAR/EAR export control regulations and the handling of sensitive proprietary data.
  • Overhead crane and rigging experience
  • Cleaning, Passivation and Verification experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic proof tests on tubes, ducts, and assemblies according to engineering specifications and safety procedures.
  • Set up and operate high-pressure pumps, gauges, manifolds, and data acquisition systems.
  • Closely monitor pressure gauges to ensure tests remain within strict engineering tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate records of test parameters, including peak pressure, hold times, and results (Pass/Fail) in digital and physical logs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on testing hardware to ensure continuous operational readiness.
  • Adhere to all hazardous energy control (LOTO) and high-pressure safety protocols, including the use of blast shields and pressure relief valves.
  • Visually inspect components for leaks, deformation, or material failure during and after testing cycles.
  • Assist in the routine inspection of testing hardware and coordinate the rotation of calibrated instrumentation (gauges and sensors).
