In this position, you’ll develop and maintain a wide range of materials—technical guides, business documentation, user manuals, process flows, and project artifacts. You’ll work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards and project methodologies. This role is considered essential, meaning your work plays a critical part in supporting operations during high‑priority situations. If you’re a detail‑oriented communicator who enjoys owning documentation from concept to completion, this role offers both impact and visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or three years of equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years of technical or business writing experience.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to complete Security Awareness Training within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be able to pass a Level II background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in technical writing.
  • Experience supporting state or federal IT projects.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, version control systems, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
  • Skills in graphic design or multimedia content creation.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and UX design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain technical, business, and user documentation for enterprise IT projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and developers to gather information and ensure accuracy.
  • Translate complex technical details into clear, structured, and user‑friendly content.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with organizational standards, templates, and project governance guidelines.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and consistency.
  • Serve as essential staff during critical operational periods.
