About The Position

- How would you contribute to the creation of user and administrator content for the Viva suite of products? - How do you ensure that the content you create is relevant and up -to -date? - How comfortable are you with using tools like GitHub and Markdown? - Can you provide examples of documentation you have created for a technical audience? - Do you enjoy working on diverse projects and integrating new features into existing products? Do such questions intrigue you? - Client Overview: Our client is a leading technology company specializing in software solutions and cloud services. - Role Summary: As a Technical Writer, your main objective will be to produce high -quality documentation for the Viva suite of products, with a specific focus on integrating Copilot into Viva Engage. Your work will play a crucial role in enabling users to effectively utilize and navigate the products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, journalism, or communications.
  • 5 -7 years of experience in technical writing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.
  • Critical thinking and problem -solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GitHub and Markdown.

Responsibilities

  • Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards.
  • Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine subject material and technical specifications.
  • Develop and test user scenarios that demonstrate how to use the products.
  • Interact with product experts, managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to identify content needs.
  • Provide guidance and instruction on writing styles to support documentation creation.
  • Contribute to the documentation plan, reviewing data to inform improvements.
  • Adapt technical language to customer -friendly content.
  • Utilize Microsoft publishing products C3 and GitHub (preferred but not required).
  • Conduct technical writing, editing, and proofreading for Microsoft.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Style Guide (preferred, not required).
