We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Technical Writer at ICON, you will play a key role in producing high-quality documentation that supports our clinical research operations and technology solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly materials that communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in technical writing, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical research sectors.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to convey them clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word, with experience in content management systems (CMS).
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, system manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborating with developers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in all technical documentation.
• Translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences, including end-users, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensuring consistency, clarity, and quality in all written materials, adhering to ICON's style guidelines and documentation standards.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to junior writers, supporting best practices in technical writing and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
