About The Position

The candidate will support the ITGA program with IT programs, policies, planning and strategic objectives by compiling written documentation products that align with organizational missions and initiatives. The contractor will provide knowledge management support directly for the ITG team by overseeing the knowledge sharing process for the division. Essential Functions Support development of IT and cybersecurity strategy, status, continuity, and governance documentation. Develop and implement cyber policies, programs, and guidelines aligned with organizational goals. Interpret and integrate applicable laws, regulations, and standards into policy and strategy. Design and maintain a cyber strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. Promote cyber policy awareness and ensure alignment with leadership priorities. Assess cyber workforce capabilities and recommend updates to skills and qualification standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify policy needs and ensure timely, compliant policy development. Apply change management Develop technical reports, managerial briefings, SOPs, knowledge articles, white papers, case studies, and presentation materials. Translate complex IT and cyber concepts into clear, user-friendly guides and manuals for varied audiences. Produce high-quality documentation for both unclassified and classified environments (up to Top Secret/Restricted Data). Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, grammatically correct, and aligned with organizational style guidelines. Edit, format, and proof documentation for clarity, tone, and readability; minimize passive voice and jargon. Prioritize and manage concurrent documentation projects and deliverables. Prepare documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and cybersecurity assessments. Design and implement an internal knowledge management framework to improve information accessibility and retention. Participate in self-assessments, and benchmarking activities. Cyber and IT Strategy, Policy, and Governance Support Technical Writing, Documentation, and Communication Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement Competencies Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Supervisory Responsibility n/a Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a DHS Public Trust
