About The Position

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for documenting, implementing, and executing technical & non-technical communication plans in support of Insight’s Enterprise Business Planning (EBP) transition from SAP to Workday. We will count on you to focus on bridging the gap between technical system architecture and end-user adoption. Along the way, you will get to: Bridge the Knowledge Gap: Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR, Finance, and eCommerce teams to document "as-is" SAP processes and "to-be" Workday workflows, ensuring all facilities are aligned. Develop Technical Documentation: Research, write, and maintain a comprehensive library of technical manuals, user guides, API documentation, and system configuration records specific to the Workday ecosystem. Intranet & Content Management: Manage and monitor the ERP Project Intranet hub; serve as the lead editor for all Workday-related news announcements, FAQs, and troubleshooting repositories. SME Collaboration: Coordinate with internal Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Developers to translate complex technical specifications into digestible content for non-technical stakeholders. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Business, or Communications.
  • Technical Agility: Ability to understand data migrations, business process frameworks.
  • Project Management: Self-directed and able to juggle multiple documentation workstreams with competing deadlines over a 24-month project lifecycle.
  • Soft Skills: High level of interpersonal skills to influence change and facilitate knowledge transfer within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
