About The Position

Technical Writer and Editor, Senior The Opportunity: Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

Requirements

• Experience utilizing the DoD Issuance Style Guide and AP Style
• Experience working with the front office of senior staff
• Experience writing, editing, and managing technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of the proper handling, marking, and tracking of classified material
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and program data for the development of accurate, high-quality documentation
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail and successfully adhere to deadlines
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience using AI tools to assist in the writing of technical documentation
• Knowledge of DoD 5000 series instructions
• Master's degree
• Microsoft Office Specialist: Word Expert Certification
