The Procedure Coordinator will work on a variety of responsibilities to ensure that LEU+ project requirements are implemented and performed within procedures as defined by Westinghouse Westinghouse announced the creation of a center of excellence for Low Enriched Uranium Plus (LEU+) fuel manufacturing at its Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) in South Carolina. We expect the demand for LEU+ fuel in the range of 5 – 10 % enrichment to grow in the coming years because increased power generation reduces the number of outages needed in nuclear plants. Westinghouse has initiated the work to expand its operations at CFFF with advanced processes, upgraded equipment, and engineered safeguards for sustainable, efficient, and reliable fabrication of LEU+ nuclear fuel. You will report to the Training Manager and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • We require an associate degree, specializing in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in document generation and manipulation using Microsoft Suite tools

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that our activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Help develop LEU+ documentation and storage system
  • Maintain and review documents and templates that provide quality documents and guidance for the standardization, use and adherence of those documents for LEU+
  • Collaborate with project managers and other partners to understand documentation requirements
  • Update our teams on any new regulations affecting documentation
  • Process document change requests
  • Facilitate working/collaboration meetings
  • Ensure regulatory and corporate procedure compliance of the LEU+ project
  • Provide monthly metrics to site leadership
  • Support Site Procedure Improvement Plans and Automation/Digitization projects
  • Daily monitoring of system and processes to ensure operation and act as the initial contact for issue resolution
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
