The Manufacturing Technical Trainer role is responsible for ensuring that all technical training for their shift/team is complete and up to date. This includes new hire hands-on training, re-certifications, supporting compliance training. This role is also responsible for creating and updating procedures and work instructions for their department and will be assuming all Document Control Coordinator (DCC) duties.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to go to where the training is required, this may involve floating to other shifts as needed

  • One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • All Duties and Responsibilities listed in the MOP, KOP, POP job descriptions
  • Responsible for monitoring training of all new full time and temporary employees
  • Manage and conduct all training and re-certification for existing team members with quality, production, and safety standards
  • Create and update procedures and work instructions, will be the DCC for the department
  • Create training presentations, deliver training.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours on the floor per quarter to maintain skill level and expertise.
  • Develop training material utilizing vendors and instruction manuals for new processes and equipment.
  • Represent The Froneri Way of working through the behaviors and characteristics in our Operating Model and Core Values
  • Maintain and enter all training records into trackers to ensure compliance.
  • Lead safety investigations and document findings.
  • Lead by example to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide or coordinate training for LOTO, forklift operations, first responder, hearing test, and communicate any safety or environmental observations.
  • Conduct safety and environmental audits of shift and work in conjunction with Shift Managers and supervisors to close the gaps.
  • Be able to flex work hours and shifts to accommodate the needs of the company.
  • Lead by example to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Quality and Food Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Support Safety Specialist as a back up and any project work as needed.
  • Must be trained in first Responder, CPR certified, blood borne pathogen, incident investigation, workers compensation, all PIT equipment, confined space and Permit to work. Training must be kept up to date and a certified trainer.
  • Track safety certifications and upcoming expirations (LOTO, PIT, hearing test, first responder, confined space and PTW.
