Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is seeking Technical Trainer / Writers based out of Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of system sustainment. You will also be responsible for executing tasks in the areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Sustainment Analysis, and Sustainment Planning. This will include tasks such technical documentation, spares analysis, provisioning support, training, reliability analysis, and system safety. This role will primarily support various LCE Effectors portfolio.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with engineering logistics, drafting technical documentation, conducting maintenance training courses, system fielding, or depot/sustainment support functions.
  • Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start .
  • US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of depot hardware handling and transportation requirements.
  • Familiarity with factory operations, procedures, and depot flow activities.
  • Experience working with US Military programs.
  • Ability to influence product design to optimize product supportability.
  • Aptitude for preparation and presentation of system sustainment briefing materials to internal leadership and government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Produce maintenance plans, demilitarization plans, and sustainment plans.
  • Author and peer review technical support documents for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
  • Lead In-service Failure Reporting, Analysis Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
  • Conduct procedure validations and collaborate with customers.
  • Perform technical research to support development of technical documents.
  • Oversee container management process and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support various Integrated Logistics Service (ILS) and depot functions as needed.
