About The Position

The Technical Trainer position in the Molding department at ICU Medical will be responsible for the overall internal training compliance of all Molding personnel. The primary role in this position is to ensure that all Molding personnel have been trained effectively to his/her overall job responsibilities within the scope of their position. This individual will also be responsible for the development of a Molding technical certification program for all Process Technicians to be certified on ICU specific molds and presses.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of both Thermoplastic and LSR injection molding.
  • Must have a high level of Attention to Detail in his/her work.
  • Proficient in MS Suite, excel is a must.
  • The ability to develop certified training documents and implement Molding training procedures using applicable software.
  • The ability to perform hands-on training in the Molding environment.
  • Previous Trainer experience is a must
  • Minimum education requirements: High School diploma.
  • 2 years of training and/or leadership experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The ability to train employees on all 4 Molding shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Molding Medical manufacturing experience, a plus
  • Previous med device or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ICU Medical Training system through the following:
  • Regular audits of the training system to ensure employees are compliant.
  • Follow up with team leaders to prevent past due records.
  • Management of employee training records (hard copy) and data entry as needed.
  • Training and compliance with iLearning system as needed.
  • Facilitate changes to training tracks or due dates as needed with team leaders.
  • Facilitate other training tasks that come as needed.
  • Work with Team Leaders to identify, generate and conduct additional training regarding Quality, Safety or other topics that require special attention.
  • Training is required to take place on all 4 shifts
  • Conduct regular audits of Quality, Safety or other Gemba Walks to identify areas of improvement or additional training.
  • Support Lean/Six-Sigma initiatives as they arise.
  • Work on special projects as they arise including improvement projects around processes, communication or others as needed.
