Peraton is seeking a Technical System Integration Lead to join our team and help shape the future of U.S. airspace operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that technical experts across multiple domains are integrated, aligned, and effectively contributing to the FAA’s mission-critical modernization goals. As the System Integration Lead, you will drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies into existing FAA infrastructure with minimal disruption.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ years of experience in systems integration or related roles.
  • Strong background in design, function, and operational use of radar, communications, telecommunications, automation, or facilities systems.
  • Proven experience integrating new technologies into operational environments with minimal disruption.
  • Expertise in requirements development, design, and risk mitigation for deploying systems into legacy infrastructures.
  • Experience with systems validation and verification processes in mission-critical environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
  • Deep familiarity with FAA Air Traffic Control systems or similar advanced electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of FAA or ANSP mission-critical infrastructure strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations on labor utilization, work-flows, and operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Represent Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributions in stakeholder and technical meetings.
  • Review SME outputs for technical consistency, compliance, and alignment with program architecture.
  • Coordinate decision-making and facilitate cross-program integration between all program personnel.
  • Oversee personnel actions, budgets, and material acquisition to support successful project completion.
  • Define SME roles, deliverables, and time-lines in coordination with program schedules.
  • Maintain situational awareness across programs to ensure interoperability and service quality.
  • Facilitate collaboration to align technical inputs with systems-level requirements and objectives.
  • Lead coordination and tasking of SMEs across functional areas and resolve cross-functional conflicts.
  • Act as the central point of contact between SMEs, leadership, and external stakeholders.
