About The Position

Detail-oriented and proactive Technical Support Engineer to support engineering teams. Play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our software and systems through diligent troubleshooting, auditing, and coordination. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks related to software maintenance, documentation, and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand basic software instructions and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to effectively review and troubleshoot.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with customers and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to coordinate schedules, manage appointments, and ensure all logistical requirements are met for testing and reviews.
  • Attention to Detail: Proficient in documentation, reporting, and maintaining precise and accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering Support: Provide direct assistance to engineering teams and customers to facilitate project success.
  • Software and System Integrity: Review and troubleshoot software, verifying compliance with technical documents (TRDs, T.O.s, etc.).
  • Audit software revisions and dates on test stations to ensure they match the software library.
  • Verify that system qualification testing (SCT and OAFI) is completed on schedule and that all documentation for test stations is current.
  • Conduct audits of hardware and software assets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Schedule software reviews and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing with customers.
  • Verify the availability of all required personnel and ensure all roles are filled for scheduled event(s).
  • Documentation and Reporting: Log and meticulously track technical issues using the Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Create and maintain charts, forms, and accurate records for all related activities.
