About The Position

The Customer Solutions Engineering team is responsible for developing solutions to the business problems faced by the world’s largest advertisers. In this role, you will use the coding abilities, communication skills, desire to solve problems, passion for scale and big data, and business acumen to develop answers to questions. Your solutions will take many forms, from prototypes and demos to education all with the technology resources of Google to back it up. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing your own projects. You will see the unique business issues faced by our largest advertisers. Working across the entire organization, you will have the chance to leverage your wide-ranging experience and skill-set to find the best solution for the problems. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience using Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media/tech landscape.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
  • Experience with big data platforms and large volume data analytics.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment to solve problems and think critically.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical relationships with a select client portfolio.
  • Work with business to identify business opportunities leveraging both display and performance solutions supported by the team.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance and best practices to apply ad products and technologies to achieve advertisers' business goals.
  • Design and implement cross-product customized solutions with the client.
  • Be responsible for end-to-end implementations and escalations managed by other Google teams for named accounts.
