About The Position

We are seeking a Technical Services Manager to serve as Skipper NDT’s primary technical authority in North America. This role centers on deep technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities. As our technical authority, expertise in geomatics, data processing, and physics is required to deliver exceptional technical support to clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for external client discussions
• Act as the voice of authority on Skipper NDT’s technology platform
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences
• Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise during client presentations and proposals
• Translate client needs into clear requirements to shape competitive proposals
• Actively participate in key industry conferences and technical forums (PPIM, IPC, API, PRCI, etc.)
• Develop and present technical papers showcasing Skipper NDT’s technology and case studies
• Represent Skipper NDT at industry events, trade shows, and technical committee meetings
• Build Skipper NDT’s reputation as the thought leader in pipeline magnetometry
• Network with industry stakeholders to advance awareness of Skipper NDT’s technologies and emerging applications
• Lead the development and review of final technical reports for clients
• Present all reports directly to clients, serving as the authoritative voice on report contents and findings
• Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client specifications
• Enhance standardized reporting templates and methodologies
• Support project management activities as needed to ensure successful project execution
• Supervise the design and ensure the efficient delivery of technical training programs by our field team to third parties
• Ensure partners are fully equipped to deploy Skipper NDT technology effectively
• Establish and execute operator certification programs, including initial training, competency assessments, and renewal protocols for internal and third-party personnel
